SELF EXALTATION Is SIN

"Whosoever Exalteth Himself Shall Be Abased; And He that Humbleth Himself Shall Be Exalted." (Luke 14:11, 18:14)

 "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself," does not suggest or imply that loving of self means to exalt oneself first.

GOD-ALMIGHTY THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, FIRST!
Deuteronomy 6:5 KJV:
"Thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might."
Matthew 22:37 KJV:
"Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind."
Mark 12:30 KJV:
"Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: This is the first commandment."
Luke 10:27 KJV:
"Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind;
and thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."

Love thyself  does not mean exalt thyself.
You must first of all KNOW who "thy God" is.
